Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wellness department including resident care, wellness education, wellness services, and wellness programming.
LPN license required Ability to work under minimal supervision Knowledge of the elderly and their needs Coordinates and facilitates orientation and training of nursing personnel Certified CPR and First Aide instructor or willingness to obtain Train the Trainer certification or willingness to obtain one.
Lead and manage the development of new programs that will improve quality of life for our residents.
Ability to deal with emergencies quickly and efficiently Ensure that all programs are compliant with state regulations and federal regulations.
Effectively communicates and cooperates with Executive Director, Department heads, and supervisors Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
Ability to work with families and community contacts in a courteous manner Manage all paperwork associated with care plans.
Experience:
Nursing:
3-5 years (preferred) LTC:
3-5 years (preferred) LPN:
3-5 years (preferred) Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
